Access to the community
Increasing skills
The Medicaid Waiver program calls these services Personal Assistance
Habilitation. Full Life provides Personal Assistance Habilitation levels 1, 2 and
3.
Personal Assistance/Habilitation services help individuals learn skills
necessary to live in the community and increase economic self-
sufficiency, and also support the individual with daily activities.
These services are provided by hiring a person that you choose (someone
you know, your parent if you are over 18, or someone that Full Life recruits
and you interview) and training them to support you in your chosen areas.
Full Life has a 3 day orientation, including CPR/1st Aid, Positive Behavioral
Supports, Self Determination training, and more, plus will train the individual
on your specific goals. Full Life also does background checks, and pre-
interviews the applicants before you interview them.

- Necessary skills may include personal grooming, preparing meals,
eating, bed making, doing household chores, and participating in
community activities. - Daily activities may include in-home activities such as bathing, dressing,
eating, preparing meals and cleaning, as well as accessing community
resources, increasing circle of supports, and supporting health and
safety.
