- Personal Care- Assistance with and training on bathing, cooking, cleaning,
etc. - Access to the community- Transportation and assistance in participating
in a wide variety of community activities chosen by you! This can also
include transportation and assistance with doctors appointments,
shopping for food, shopping for personal items, eating out at restaurants,
or any other activity where transportation and assistance is needed. - The Full Life Learning Center- A school in Kealakekua, for adults with
disabilities. The school is focused on having individualized curriculum that
assists each participant or student to achieve their own goals. - Household assistance/cleaning- Cleaning, laundry, etc.
- Assistance to Foster Parents of people with Developmental Disabilities
- Increasing skills- Assistance acquiring skills and knowledge desired to live
a quality of life chosen by you. - Employment- Help finding and maintaining a job or career, including
looking for the job, applying, and on the job assistance once the job
starts. - Support in many other areas- Full Life is very knowledgeable about the
process and details about requesting additional assistance from the State
of Hawaii, navigating the system to get the services you need, and where
to go if you need more assistance. We can help you by answering
questions about what to ask for, who to ask, and how to ask, to get the
