We knew it would.
Fast forward six months:
Today I walked into the Full Life Learning Center and Jacob was playing his ukulele,
and singing. He looked up at me triumphantly as he finished his song, and said, “I
did it!” He then excitedly told me about a fellow student birthday party coming up
and the next surf day scheduled for September. He wanted to make sure I was
coming.
You can sometimes see the tears welling up in the eyes of the people who knew
Jacob before he started school, when they see him so happy and joyously having
conversations with anyone who can listen. Being in a respectful environment, with
personalized and group interactions has changed Jacob’s life forever.
