How can you help?

Full Life is currently looking for volunteers to help us in our annual survey of clients, families,
and community stakeholders.  This volunteer opportunity requires that you call a short list of
individuals, ask them survey questions, and input their responses into an on-line form.  If
you have internet access this work can be done from your home or you can work from our
office in Kealakekua.

  • Know about Gardening and Greenhouses? We need help!
Gardeners wanted to help renew our container gardens with our Learning Center clients. If you have a
few hours a week, know container gardening and would like to reap the rewards and joy of working
with our clients, please call Full Life.

  •   Full Life needs a Volunteer Grant Writer!  
If you have successful grant-writing experience and would like to volunteer for a great cause, please call Stone
at 322-9333.  

  • Interested in teaching Art Classes?
Artists, would you like to volunteer once a month to teach art classes in Waimea?  We are starting
classes at Tutu’s House for individuals with disabilities. Please call Full Life.

  • Interested in teaching people your hobbies/skills?
The Learning Center is a daytime program (teaching social, leisure and independent living skills) for
adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for Volunteer Teachers to teach whatever they
are passionate about including Leisure Skills (pottery, hula, painting, yoga, art, knitting, dancing, or
any other leisure skill activity) Independent Living (Cooking, cleaning, self care, buying and returning
items, searching for apartments, or jobs etc.), and Social Skills (dealing with anger, forming
friendships, dating, sign language etc.) Any sort of skill or passion will be welcome!
