- Interested in teaching people your hobbies/skills?
The Learning Center is a daytime program (teaching social, leisure and independent living skills) for adults with developmental disabilities. We are looking for Volunteer Teachers to teach whatever they are passionate about including Leisure Skills (pottery, hula, painting, yoga, art, knitting, dancing, or any other leisure skill activity) Independent Living (Cooking, cleaning, self care, buying and returning items, searching for apartments, or jobs etc.), and Social Skills (dealing with anger, forming friendships, dating, sign language etc.) Any sort of skill or passion will be welcome!
