4th Drumming Circle – Hilo

Aloha Full Life Ohana

We are excited to let you know that our 4TH drumming social this year will include TAIKO DRUMMING!

As this event grows more into a celebration of arts, inclusion and strengthening our community, we invite more activities to match our diverse community!

WHEN:  Friday, August 30th 2:30-5:30  Mohouli Park

Participants will Listen, Learn & Play basic percussive beats, followed by a community drumming circle where participants integrate what they learn in a community inclusive social setting.  Achieve social skills and strengthen peer supports.

Hawai’i County Parks & Rec will be providing some instruments and assisting with registration, Full Life and AHA will be providing chalk and face/body painting supplies through art donation from The Dreaming Zebra Foundation.  Quinn Nelson of Puna Kamali’i, will be sponsoring “Aloha Friday” lei making activity!
